Founded in 2012 by Gabriel Barajas, TacosWay had humble origins before growing into the industry-disrupting restaurant that it is today. At the time, Gabriel (aka Mr. TacosWay & Mr. MicheWay) was operating a hot-dog stand outside a nearby DMV. Having grown up in Southern California, Mr. TacosWay recognized that the local industry was missing a hip Mexican restaurant. Since then, TacosWay rapidly opened five locations in a span of just five years in addition to a summer 2020 grand opening in Tokyo Japan. With an additional Oxnard California restaurant on the way, it won’t be long until TacosWay opens in a city near you!
